And Here We Have Idaho...

I took a four-day vacation with the Laurels, to visit Michaela's up and coming stomping ground.
As a matter of fact,
we bee-lined it straight to her new residence....

Fancy digs, right?

We spent some time in "The Tower of Death" at Sis. Rayback's house. Her dad is a master hunter.
Beth made friends with a dearly departed crocodile...

...and a very much alive horse.
(and a dog, and pigs!)

We ate at Big Jud's, famous for their massive and delicious hamburgers.

Though the menu was kind of extensive,

we only wanted one thing.

Our trip culminated at the temple,
and then we headed home.

Ah, Idaho.
Thank you for some much needed mental restoration.

Two Words.

You cannot imagine my joy!

Do You Have This Yet?

I know I am prone to the dramatic, but it will make you weep.

 All covers, and absolutely gorgeous.
Are you hearing me?
Go get this now.

This Just Might Have Been the Highlight of His Day.

Zac is bored.
At 17, he has left all of his friends
and moved to a strange land with strange stuff.
And he is a pretty good sport about it.
However, he does not like to swim,
thus he does not accompany us to any water activities,
which really are most of our activities in this 100 degree summer.
When "pressured" by Auntie Brenda (who just needs the house to herself every once in awhile),
he will occasionally go to Seven Peaks Water Park
with the rest of the kids, fully clothed with book in hand.
No water for him.
Today, however, they pulled out Just Dance 3.
Zac got a little excited.
He did alot of dancing.
Who knew?

Is This An Appropriate Sabbath Activity?

I thought not...

...but it mattered not.

While We Were Left At Home...

...these guys set out for an adventure in the High Uintas...
Boy did they have one.

Yes, that's Hannah and her pack...she hiked over 27 miles with that thing!

Elijah caught twenty-one fish.

Kyle was discovered to make very strange noises while he sleeps (kind of like growling?)...

Hmmm, not sure what is going on here...they might be a little delirious.

The whole crew...safe and sound.
